Pneumatic NC feeder connected with the press machine’s release cam, the release cam of press machine send the release signal to the feeder’s solenoid (traditional press machine use proximity switch), then electromagnetic valve (or approach switch) control the release cylinder, push feeding upper roller to achieve release action, the release action is relatively slow, but the advantage is that can match various machine tools (including press machine, shearing machine, hydraulic machine, forming machine, laser cutting machine)
The mechanical NC feeder machine needs to install a releasing hitting rod device on the CAM of press machine. During stamping, the roller on the feeder machine can be released synchronically by pressing and hitting the release bearing with the hitting rod. When installing the mechanical NC feeder, auxiliary devices should be installed on the sliding block of press machine, so there are certain restrictions on the size and type of the matching press machine. Mechanical NC feeder machine has fast release action, it is very suitable for short step, high speed processing and production occasions, as well as the occasion with traditional press machine.
In addition, pneumatic NC feeder is more suitable for thick plate stamping. Because the air cylinder of pneumatic feeder not only has the function of releasing, but also can be used for clamping materials, which is tighter than mechanical clamping, so that thick materials are not easy to slip.Therefore, the pneumatic NC feeder is very suitable for the long and short step feeding of thick and heavy plate materials and automatic feeding of stretch products.
